Leadership
Healthy Early strives to address the needs of Wisconsin’s most underserved population and is committed to having those with lived experience make decisions on our statewide initiatives. In doing so, Healthy Early optimizes its operation by carefully linking three workgroups within the coalition.
- Healthy Early Leaders. Community members with lived experience of being marginalized by existing unjust systems comprise 60% of members leading and deciding direction. Collectively, Leaders will make critical decisions for Healthy Early and take leadership of the coalition efforts. They will help set the strategic direction and statewide priorities for Healthy Early.
- Healthy Early Partners. Partner organizations whose work aligns with the mission and priorities of Healthy Early will establish direction and priorities. These partners will do the collective work on the ground as guided by Healthy Early Leaders.
- Healthy Early IDEA Group. The Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Action (IDEA) Group represents all the partners in its efforts to provide the resources necessary to ensure optimum work. This group is critical in its role in monitoring Healthy Early’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts as guided by Healthy Early Leaders.
